Welcome To Maplecreek Shelties!

Maplecreek is located in the Twin Cities area of
Minnesota. We have been involved with shelties since 1993 and are members of
both the Lochland Shetland Sheepdog Club of
Minnesota, where Dawn is currently serving as Vice President, and the
Minnesota Agility Club. Our dogs here compete in a variety of venues including
conformation, agility and obedience. Above all else, they are our constant
companions.
We do not breed often, but when we do, our focus is on health,
temperament and sound structure. To learn more about the background of Maplecreek, click on the
"About" link above.
Enjoy looking around the website and feel free
to e-mail me with any questions or comments.

"I have sometimes thought of the final cause of dogs having such short lives and I am quite satisfied it is in compassion to the human race; for if we suffer so much in loving a dog after an acquaintance of ten or twelve years, what would it be if they were to live double that time?"
